5 simple ways to style your woven baskets

For a minimalist touch to your Scandi home decor
As we slowly fall into autumn we’re sprucing up our baskets to welcome a seasonal touch into our homes.
Whether you’re after a handy way to store your favourite items or looking to add a simple accent to your home, these woven baskets are a handy and aesthetically pleasing way to incorporate seasonal changes to your home decor.
Here’s just a few of our favourite ways to style your baskets this Autumn…
1. Filled with your favourite books or magazines
As the nights slowly darken and the leaves begin to fall, now is the time for slow, cosy moments with your favourite book or magazine. Baskets are a lovely way to keep your favourite bits of reading material organised and close by, while creating the ultimate, cosy book aesthetic.
2. Filled with a cosy blanket or two
With cold winter months on the horizon it’s always handy to have a cosy blanket easily accessible. Maybe you want a basket completely devoted to blankets (this would definitely be my choice), or combined with other handy items such as, books, magazines, slippers &  cushions; It’s a lovely way to create a cosy & homey feel while still keeping things nice and organised.
3. Filled with dried flowers
A unique alternative to displaying your flowers in a vase. As dried flowers don’t need water, you can quite literally display them wherever you like. We love how they look laid or stood inside baskets, making a truly eye catching and simple way to celebrate the seasons all year round.
4. Tied with a seasonal ceramic tag
Our handmade ceramic tags are a lovely addition to the handle of your favourite basket, making a really simple and effective way to add a touch of seasonal charm to your home decor. So whether you’re saying ‘Hello Autumn’ or ’Tis the Season’, you can spruce your baskets up hassle free with whatever phrase is most fitting for you.
5. Filled with pumpkins
Whether real or fake, baskets filled with pumpkins are wonderful way to welcome a cosy, autumn aesthetic into your home. This year we’ve filled our baskets with an abundance of these gorgeous fabric and paper mâché pumpkins from Pudding & Pea Interiors & Panache Par Paris - don’t they look lovely together!
We hope you have fun styling your baskets, there really are no rules - be as creative as you like! If you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear!
Happy styling x
